Edina Shaw

Edina Shaw
Guest Judge & Instructor

Edina started her wild adventure with Lindy Hop in 2001 when she followed a boy she liked to a swing dance in Vancouver. Her passion for dance exploded from then on and she still follows that same boy as they compete and teach together in Vancouver, BC. She is champion, with Eric Shaw, of the Hellzapoppin competition in Utah, February 2008 and the Flyweight (Fast Lindy) competition at Lindy Bout II in April 2008 but her greatest joy as a dancer and teacher are in having fun with people and helping them harness their unique dancing superpower both on the social dance floor and in performances. In addition to travelling to dance, compete, and attend workshops from the masters of Lindy hop, Edina keeps her inspiration up and swivels fabulous by dancing in her living room every chance she gets.
